Privacy Policy

Bible Lots is designed for private, account-free Bible reading and casting.

Plain-language summary: The core app works offline, does not require an account, and does not use advertising or analytics. Information leaves your device only in limited circumstances described below, such as when you contact support, make a purchase, or use device-to-device Watch features.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Bible Lots handles information in the mobile app, the BibleLots.net website, beta communications, support, future Supporter purchases, and one-time support payments. The public operator name is Bible Lots.

2. Information kept on your device

The Berean Standard Bible, Scripture-pool information, casting functionality, bookmarks, reading position, and preferences are bundled with the app or stored locally. Normal Bible reading and casting do not require a Bible Lots account or a remote Bible service.

3. Support and beta email

Information is sent to Bible Lots only when you intentionally email support, request beta access, or submit feedback. Depending on what you choose to include, this may contain your email address, platform, device, operating-system version, app version/build, screen, book/chapter, description, and steps to reproduce. Do not send information you do not want included in the request.

Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to respond, diagnose issues, maintain appropriate records, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

4. Purchases and entitlements

When Bible Lots Supporter launches, Apple or Google will process the subscription and related payment/account information under their own policies. Bible Lots receives transaction and entitlement information needed to determine Supporter access; it does not operate a separate Bible-reading account system.

If you intentionally choose Give Once, Stripe processes the payment on its hosted service under Stripe’s privacy policy. Bible Lots may receive payment status, amount, contact information, and related transaction details needed to administer the contribution and handle support or refunds.

5. Phone and Watch communication

When Watch support is enabled, the phone transfers the resolved casting configuration, entitlement status needed for access, revision information, and acknowledgments using Apple WatchConnectivity or Google Wear OS Data Layer mechanisms. A configured Watch stores enough information to cast offline. It does not receive the bundled Bible text or reading bookmark.

6. Website and infrastructure

BibleLots.net does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies and includes no advertising or analytics tracker. Cloudflare hosts and secures the website and may process ordinary network and technical data, such as IP address, request details, and security signals, under its own policies. Infrastructure providers may retain such data according to their operational and legal requirements.

7. How information is used and shared

Bible Lots uses information to respond to requests, administer beta participation, maintain and improve the app, verify purchases, provide Watch access, process one-time support, secure services, and meet legal obligations. Bible Lots does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may be processed by service providers described above or disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer.

8. International processing and security

Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Bible Lots uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The core app does not require account creation and does not intentionally solicit unnecessary personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information through support or beta email, contact us to request review or deletion.

10. Your requests

To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information held by Bible Lots, email support@biblelots.net. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Bible Lots may need enough information to verify and fulfill a request.

11. Changes

This policy may change as the app, Supporter features, payment flow, or applicable requirements evolve. The updated date will appear above.
