Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

Jonathan Grebenyuk operates Bible Lots and BibleLots.net. This policy explains the current mobile app, website, voluntary support and beta communications, and payment flows. Contact support@biblelots.net with privacy questions.

2. The mobile app

Bible Lots requires no Bible Lots account for personal reading and casting. It has no developer-operated analytics, advertising, cross-app or cross-website tracking, or backend user profile. It does not automatically upload Bible reading activity or cast history, or transmit bookmarks or preferences to Bible Lots. Bible content is bundled locally; ordinary preferences and the reading bookmark are stored on your device.

Earlier builds used Apple StoreKit to evaluate Supporter entitlements locally; the fully-free update does not require a subscription for existing features. Apple continues to handle any past or still-active subscription billing and management. Bible Lots does not receive full payment-card credentials through StoreKit. Phone/Watch configuration and access information use Apple platform mechanisms, not a Bible Lots backend. The Watch can return cast-result metadata to the paired phone; that is device-to-device communication.

3. Feedback you choose to send

The app prepares feedback locally and opens the operating system share sheet. Prepared context can include the current screen, Scripture book and chapter when applicable, app version/build, and platform/OS. It does not automatically send that context to Bible Lots, collect an email address, or transmit reading history.

Nothing is sent to Bible Lots unless you affirmatively choose a destination and complete the external send action. You can cancel, review what is being shared, and choose whether to include your own message. The external app or service you choose has its own privacy practices.

If you voluntarily contact Bible Lots by email or another external communication service, we may receive your sender information and whatever you choose to send. We use voluntary support correspondence only to respond, provide customer support, troubleshoot, address safety/security or fraud where applicable, and meet legal obligations. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

We retain support correspondence only as reasonably necessary for those purposes or applicable legal/accounting obligations. You may request deletion at support@biblelots.net, subject to records required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Apple services

Apple may independently process information for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, subscription management, TestFlight, and other platform services. Apple's independent processing is governed by Apple's privacy practices. Apple does not provide Bible Lots with your full payment-card credentials.

5. Bible Lots Web

At Bible Lots Web, casting occurs locally in your browser using browser cryptographic randomness. The Berean Standard Bible text is bundled with the site and used locally for reading. Normal Web casting and reading require no Bible Lots account or application backend.

Theme and reader-text-size preferences, a selected Scripture pool, and a bookmark may be stored in your browser's localStorage. A service worker and browser cache store the app shell and Bible data for offline use after preparation completes. These functional local preferences are not intentionally transmitted to Bible Lots. Clearing browser/site data can remove them. Bible Lots Web does not use analytics, advertising tracking, or marketing cookies.

6. Android beta form and infrastructure

BibleLots.net is separate from the mobile app's App Store privacy declaration. When you intentionally request Android beta access, we receive your full name, the Google Play email you provide, your selected country, optional message, and submission time. We use your name to identify who is requesting tester access, and use this information to administer Android testing, determine regional testing availability, communicate about testing, and respond to your message. This is not a marketing-list signup; beta information is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or marketing segmentation.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may process technical request information, including IP address, request details, and security signals. Cloudflare Turnstile processes anti-abuse signals to verify form requests. Resend processes the submitted information needed to deliver form-generated email to Bible Lots support; Cloudflare Email Routing forwards that email. The website does not store beta submissions in a website database. These providers may retain operational/security information under their own policies and legal obligations.

Beta correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to administer testing, respond, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support; applicable rights and exceptions depend on law. We may need enough information to verify and fulfill a request.

7. Voluntary support and Stripe

Optional, voluntary one-time support on the website is processed on Stripe's hosted payment service. Stripe processes payment information under its privacy policy. Bible Lots does not receive full card credentials. We may receive transaction amount, status, contact details, and other information Stripe makes available for payment, accounting, support, and refund purposes.

Applicable payment records may be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and legal obligations. Voluntary support provides no membership, digital entitlement, or feature access, and is not represented as a charitable or tax-deductible donation. See the one-time support terms.

8. No sale or advertising tracking

Bible Lots does not sell app or Web user data or use it for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. The website has no intentionally added advertising or analytics tracker. This does not mean that hosting, security, email, or payment providers process no information; their distinct roles are described above.

9. Security, international processing, and children

Providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled, but no system guarantees absolute security.

Bible Lots does not knowingly operate an account/profile database for children and does not intentionally collect personal information from children through the app. This does not prohibit children from reading the Bible. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information through correspondence or a website form, contact support to request review or deletion.

10. Changes and contact

Privacy practices and this policy may change as the product, services, or legal requirements change. We will update this policy when material practices change and show the effective date above.
